Ultraviolet light is commonly used in industrial inspection. medicine, biology, advertising, and mineralogy to identify and display minerals. Some quite drab rocks become glowing beauties under ultraviolet lights.

SHORT/LONG WAVE UV LAMP

This dial bulb lamp can be switched from one wave length to another with a flip of a switch, or used together. Operates on 110V AC, 9 watts. Shortwave is 254 nm and longwave is 368 nm. Weighs less than 7 lbs. has easy grip handle and ABS plastic housing. Approximately 8" L x 6" W x 3" H.

UV-LAD LONG WAVE FLASH LIGHTS

Both the UV-LED flashlights listed below are powerful enough to make longwave reacting gems and minerals fluoresce even in fairly bright light. Both have filters to block most visible light. Each unit emits ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 385 nm.
