NuBond™
Multilayer NuBond laps have a higher concentration of friable, self-sharpening diamond bonded directly to a solid aluminum backer. NuBond laps are precise and true running, lightweight and corrosion resistant. Important: To replace an electrobond lap, select a NuBond which is one grit coarser than the electrobond. Even though coarser, NuBond will scratch and chip less and, most important, it will still be cutting steadily after the electrobond slows to a crawl.
WHISPER DISC After efficient stock removal with an interrupted wheel or disc, you’ll want to use this quiet 1/8" thick diamond disc which nestles conveniently against the side of the grinding wheel. 600 grit diamond surface on composite backing quickly smoothes stone to a pre-polish finish. 6" disc is cut 1/8" under size so it will not interfere with grinding. #50-051; Whisper Disc.; $73.00 DIMAFAST P ![]()

POLISH LAPS
Raytech manufactures one of the widest selections of facet polishing laps in the world. We carry the traditional favorites as well as popular new additions like the Fast Lap and the Wax Lap. When it comes to polishing just about any gemstone, Raytech has the right lap. FAST LAP A most versatile polishing lap especially useful with diamond polishes. Fine metal particles embedded in a tough resin binder provide the diamond holding properties of metal with the grooving resistance of a reinforced resin structure. The microscopically interrupted surface eliminates any need for scoring and reduces the tendency to scratch. The Fast Lap is most effective when used with Raytech Diamond Spray in combination with Raytech Thinner. Also useful with oxide polishes. #49-027; 6" (150mm); Fast Lap; $95.00 #49-028; 8" (200mm); Fast Lap; $112.00
A favorite used with a variety of oxide polishes for finishing a range of gemstones. The Raytech Tin Lap has a heavy layer of pure rolled tin laminated to a Raytech Master Lap and turned true. #49-007; 6" (150mm); Tin Lap.; $96.00 #49-008; 8" (200mm); Tin Lap.; $125.00
Copper faced with 1/16" of rolled copper laminated to a 1/4" thick aluminum Master Lap turned true. Traditional lap for charging with diamond powder.
#49-010; 8" (200mm); Copper Lap; $115.00 Dimafast Diamond Grinding Wheels The Way to Go in Diamond
These durable plated diamond wheels replace silicon carbide grinding wheels, give longer lasting life, faster cutting and complete freedom from bumping and grooving. Each wheel is provided with bushings to fit arbor sizes 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4". Wheel arbor hole is standard 1".
DIAMOND TEXTURE X
GRINDING WHEELS
Texture X wheels are fast cutting due to a construction process that maintains an interrupted surface. This improves coolant flow and swarf removal.
True Circle™ “New” Technology Advancements Have Produced Superior True Circle Diamond Bands In gemstone finishing, the sanding steps are critical if you want to obtain the finest polish. An ideal sanding medium will A) Remove grinding scratches and flats quickly and effectively, B) Give consistently high performance over a long life, C) Be economical. We believe that no product currently available can compare to True Circle Diamond products in these three areas. The cutting rate is remarkably fast and stays that way. The finish coming off the 1200 is a lustrous prepolish (very close to a polish on some hard stones) and while the initial purchase price is higher than traditional silicon carbide abrasives, True Circle Diamond products are less expensive to use over their expected lifetime. True Circle Diamond Bands offer greater economy and versatility than anything else on the market. You get True Circle performance in an inexpensive band which slips on and off an expandable drum. At replacement time, there’s no need to buy the entire wheel—just the band—plus you can change grit in seconds by slipping off one band and replacing it with another.

ALUMINUM OXIDE BLADE DRESSING BLOCK Grain size and hardness matches to the specific task of dressing Raytech Blazer Blade. Blades are typically restored after approximately 10 square inches of sharpening. #32-017; Block measures; 2" x 2" x 6"; $18.75 RAYCOOL A convenient water additive which contains wetting agents and corrosion inhibitors. Add to water coolant for grinding with diamond wheels and when trimming materials cut in water. Dilute 30:1. Also useful for diamond sawing soft fluorescent minerals since it does not fluoresce. PELLA OIL FOR BLADE LUBRICATION
RAYTECH'S BLAZER BLADES RAYTECH'S Blazer Blades represent advanced diamond blade technology. Listed below are the styles and descriptions. The Green Blazer has a standard concentration of coarse diamond and is recommended for general lapidary work. The Blue Blazer is designed for the absolute minimum of stock removal but does not have the life of the Yellow Blazer. The Black Blazer is similar except that it has a “diamond rich” formulation recommended for heavier service in a diameter up to 14". The Yellow Blazer New!! RAYTECH'S all new Yellow Blazer is a direct replacement for the former Red Blazer. The newly redesigned blade is a diamond rich, free cutting blade that is manufactured in the conventional sintered continuous rim design. The Yellow Blazer is designed for thin kerfs, which are suitable for thin cuts on valuable materials. The Yellow Blazer is recommended over RAYTECH'S Blue Blazer or competitive plated blades where long life is required. Note on the charts below: the first number is the diameter of the blade, second is the core thickness, third is the rim thickness, followed by arbor size. Note on arbor holes: most Raytech Diamond Blades 10" and smaller have 5/8" arbor holes, while blades over 10" have 1" holes. Either the 5/8" or the 1" arbor holes can be bushed to smaller standard sizes. When two arbor hole sizes are shown, a bushing is used to reduce to the smaller size. Non-standard arbor holes are available on any blade at extra cost.
